Getting Attention with your Blog
ByAccording to Technorati, an authority blog itself, it calculates that there are over 112 million blogs through the end of 2009. That is a lot of information! Blogs as you know, are used for personal, business, marketing and just about anything your imagination can conjour up. So far, no none has been able to dissect each category out of that 112 million blogs. But you can be sure that blogs are effective, otherwise you would see such explosive growth here.
With that said, you have to be creative to attract attention with your blog. Blogs used to be easy to get people’s attention as recent as 4 years ago. But as of late, more and more of the same niche content as well as similar businesses are getting on the “blog” bandwagon. Bottom line: in order to break through the information “noise,” you have to offer more value in your message and business. If you have a plumbing business, give more valuable tips and information of the products and “how to” information that will keep people coming back to visit your blog. It is as simple as that. Too many marketing consultants make it more complicated than it has to be.
Be short and concise along with consistently “feeding” content to your blog and you will be see results.
