Boost your offline business via online
Did you know that 80% of your customers are searching the internet first for the product or service you offer before they visit your physical location? We are in transition from using the big and bulky Yellow Pages to going online and typing in our product search in our favorite search engine. We may be searching for how many stores are carrying the product or service we are looking for. We also may be comparing prices for the products or services offered. We are also looking for the street location to find which of these businesses are closest to our home for the sake of convenience.
What better way to provide the easiest way for your new customer to find you, than the internet. On top of that, what better way for that customer to find you via a blog.
Let’s say you have a “static” website that was designed and implemented from your favorite webmaster. He/she may have optimized that site at the beginning. Your site could get lucky and hit a decent rank in the search engines when it was put up. But, weeks, months, or a year after your site was put up, your site fails to attract new visitors when you check back on your stats. This type of site is essentially “dead” unless you “change” or add content on a regular schedule.
Welcome the BLOG! With a blog, you, as owner, and non-techie of your own site, can login and add your own posts or articles and stir up the search engines to generate new and more visitors to your site. This makes it possible for the search engines to direct the current online visitors looking for your business, to find you!

I am an artist and I promote an annual art festival in my area. I was quite pleased with the effectiveness of my art festival blog that Bruce did. I got positive cash flow, just posting and putting the proper meta tags and categories. Minimal time and money invested for a pretty good return, and long term market exposure. I was unsure about blogs at first, and I only posted a couple of times a week. But that was enough. When I got the inquiry about a sponsorship, and then got the sponsor and their check, I realized Bruce was right. This is another tool in my marketing arsenal. It takes a little work, everything does. But I feel a blog is essential to the success of my event.
