Blogs position you as the expert

It’s no secret in the online world, if you can write good content in your blog, you are a credible expert in your topic. People will come back to read more of what you have to offer and possibly tell other people and soon, you will have a community of like minded people that visit your blog often. The secret is to keep your blog interesting and post often.

Sooner or later you will have visitors make comments on your blog, which is one of the purposes of your blog. With this “dialog” started, it now makes the visitor become part of your publishing schedule and, consequently help notify the search engines. We call this “user generated” content.

When you “host” your own blog, you become an extension of your blog and your business. The most important thing when starting a blog is to be personable. Whatever your service or product, make sure you show your visitors you know your business inside and out. People will naturally gravitate towards you and your blog and visit often.

The best benefit from your “expert” status is that visitors to your blog will like and trust you enough to give you their business. As long as you keep up content in your blog that is very helpful to your readers, you will never run short of customers and business.
