Blogs Can Drive Visitors to Offline Businesses

I get a lot of email lately regarding how a blog can drive visitors to offline businesses. Remember as I mentioned before that just about 80% of people who are looking for your physical location are online using the search engine to find products and services what your offer.

Now is the time to make sure you have an online presence, preferably a blog to help guide people to your place of business. There is a fairly easy process to get your business blog to bring in customers.

First, you need to make sure you have your local city listed with the industry your are in and start a keyword list from this. Then you take this list and select at least one keyword or keyword phrase and insert it in your blog post title. Next, you add that same keyword or keyword phrase and insert it in your blog post area.

You also “tag” and list “category” words to also match the keyword or keyword phrase of your local city and industry. Keep doing this often on your future posts and you will eventually find that your site will rank very high for your city along with your industry AND your business name.

Of course you need some time for this to take in the search engines, but it would not take more than several weeks before you see some remarkable results!

Blogs are the most effective ways of building a following to your offline business today.
