Blogging has user friendly publishing platform
Whatever platform you choose to blog with, just about all of them are easy to use. By this I mean that you could literally start your own posting and moderating comments the moment your blog is installed.
Remember, the first time you blog, you become a “publisher.” With that comes a responsibility to “feed” content into it for your visitors to read. It is like a newspaper delivered to your door everyday. You wouldn’t want to see the same newspaper with the same news the next day. No, you want to see current news of the day so you feel satisfied that you consumed all you can for that day.
All blog owners should be dedicated to place fresh content on their blog at least twice a week. Other than content, you should watch for comments and moderate them. In other words, first “approve” or “delete” a comment based on the merit of the comment. Of course, the time to delete a comment is when someone is beligerent or is a complete flake.
As you begin to get more experience at blogging, you will discover if you like to add additional features to the blog. It comes in the form of “widgets” or “plugins.” We will go into detail what these are in later posts.
In the meantime, start a blog on a “free” blogger service like blogger.com or wordpress.com
This is where you can get your feet wet and test out the publishing platform. You will soon find out where to do a post and where to moderate a comment.
If you have any feedback or questions on how to start a blog, feel free to make a comment here.
