Blogging is the Marketing Tool of 2009

bme-graphicDid you check how much you are spending on marketing costs from a monthly basis? A quarter page 2 to 4 color ad can cost $2,500.00. Print advertising, whether in “Val Pack” or specialty flyer inserts can cost $2,500.00. Radio or TV will run $1,000 for each 30 second spot, more for prime time slots. These are monthly figures!

Blogging can be the most efficient way to get your message out there because it feeds upon the current trend of the massive amount of people online searching for offline businesses to make purchases. If your business is strictly online, then even better.

Where else can you:
1) market your business for a fraction the cost of conventional methods
2) sell your actual product or service directly from the blog
3) sell complimenatary products and services via affiliate advertising on your blog
4) generate an opt-in leads list 24/7
5) position yourself as the ultimate “expert” in your industry?

If you do nothing this year to add to your “marketing arsenal,” set up a blog now. Feel confident that blogging is here to stay and not a “fad.” We predict that blogs will be here long after “Twitter,” “Facebook,” “Myspace,” or any other forms of “micro-blogging” have gone. Blogs are the “virtual” newspapers of today and the future.
