Blog Marketing is Still Relevant
ByI receive email from business bloggers asking me if having a blog is still relevant to build either an online business or offline business. I responded with YES! As a matter of fact, more people and businesses are going online with a blog than in the previous 5 years combined.
If you watch TV lately, interviewer Larry King, Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, President Obama, Politcal Columnist Arriana Huffinton, Singer Mariah Carey, just about each governor from each state of the union in the USA, and literally millions of famous corporate brand names have blogs. Do you know why? They know that blogs are the best way of getting the attention of their customers, their allies, their constituients, and attract new followers.
Blogs are here to stay. I predict that blogs will outlive Twitter, Facebook and many other social media properties out there.
Blogs currently are replacing all regular “old school” HTML websites. The ease of making changes to websites by non-techical people along with the “built in” code that “pings” search engines along with robust SEO attributes makes for the blog being the “power house” of website making.
Blogs will be relevant for years to come. The SEO functionality, the ease of use, the most flexible platform, all contribute to making the blog the main staple of any type of effective online site.
